Reports are coming in that Mike Miller has indeed accepted the Heat’s offer. Did this whole Lebron thing have anything to do with it?
It’s a 5 year, $30M deal. So, that means he’s locked in with the Heat’s amazing free agent class of 2010. This is a coup, for the Heat. They needed a shooter and they got one of the better ones in the NBA. Amazing night for the Heat, amazing future for the city of Miami and the growth of the game of basketball.
The Heat get a great shooter that will help create space on the floor for Dwyane Wade, Lebron James, and Chris Bosh. In order for these three stars to feast, they will need to have a strong supporting cast and bring the ex-Gator to Miami will help. The population of Miami-Wade county just grew again tonight.

Miami Favorites to Sign Lebron: A Last Minute Plea for the King
I feel pretty good that Lebron is coming to Miami. Really good. There are lots of reports, tweets, phone calls, anonymous sources and more that indicate this. I have even been contacted by the BBC to do an interview in the event that Lebron signs tonight.
The Decision, as it is being touted, is on air on ESPN at 9pm. Never before has something like this been done.
There are some who feel Lebron can’t play with Wade and Bosh. They fear there will be too much ego. What an insult to Lebron! Surely, if he is truly the king, he can play with anyone! What better way to prove it then to play in Miami with 2 other elite NBA players with the mission not just to win a title, but to win as many as possible over the next 5-6 years.
Come on down to Miami, Lebron. Make history. Let the reign of the new Triumvirate begin.

P.S. Riley – if you pull this off, we need to build an arch of triumph along Biscayne.
