Right now, with the Heat being reported to net Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade, there is still one last move to make this offseason a complete dream and a coup. That would be to get Lebron James to come down here and play in sunny South Florida.
There are reports that the Heat are the front runners for the Lebron sweepstakes. Remember, there haven’t been any contracts signed yet, so in theory all three players could not only sign for the current $16.6M max, but they may even opt to take a bit less so that they can sign more players to round out the roster. The other thing to keep fixed on is the actually numbers for the 2010-2011 salary cap which if they come in a bit higher, might be even more favorable for Miami.
