For his recent mis-doings at an NBA rookie orientation, Mario Chalmers was fined $20,000. Not a bad situation to be in since as recently as the end of March he was a hero on Kansas’ national championship team. Traded to the Heat as part of a draft day deal, Chalmers has worked his way up on the Heat’s depth chart at point guard and could be challenging to start for the Heat in its 2008-2009 campaign.
