Jordan says he’s not planning to play for Miami Heat

According to the Miami Herald, Michael Jordan told ESPN that he is not planning on playing for the Miami Heat. He stated that the rumors were unfounded and that he had no intentions of returning to play for any NBA team. Pat Riley said that the Heat had not had any communication with Jordan since getting O’Neal from Los Angeles via the trade. O’Neal polled his teammates on whether or not they wanted Jordan on the Heat, but he personally opposed the idea.

About jonnylons
Self-proclaimed #1 Heat fan. Founded MiamiHeatwave.com back in 2004 when I couldn't follow the Heat living in Tallahassee. Found lots of fellow "Heatians" online and it has never been the same since. Loving this new Heat team with the Triumvirate. Pat Riley has always been, and will now forever be, my idol.
